Mobile GIS Core

Modular Swift libraries for field survey: SurveyingCore (coordinates, CRS, azimuths), GeodesyCore (grid COGO, transformations), SurveyAdjustmentCore (traverse, averaging), SurveyWorkflowCore (stakeout, stationing), and SurveyExchangeCore (CSV with validation).

  • Typed grid coordinates — every point carries its horizontal CRS
  • Height datum handled independently of horizontal CRS
  • Cross-CRS operations rejected with clear errors

Stakeout

Point stakeout: ΔE / ΔN, horizontal distance, target azimuth, vertical delta, slope distance. Three-state tolerance — Outside, Approaching, Within. Line stakeout: station, signed offset, segment fraction, before/beyond-segment detection.

Traverse & COGO

  • Bowditch (Compass) and Transit adjustment with misclosure metrics
  • Bearing-bearing, bearing-distance, distance-distance intersections
  • Perpendicular offset, arc computations, Shoelace area
  • Weighted 2D similarity (Helmert) localization with residuals

Occupations & units

Auditable GNSS occupations with quality gates (RTK Fixed/Float, PDOP, satellite count, correction age). CSV import/export with schema validation. WKT Point / LineString / Polygon. Linear units keep International Foot and U.S. Survey Foot strictly separate.
