GeoChat translation

Translate incoming GeoChat between English, Spanish, French, and German. GeoNames place names support batch translation (up to 100 results, batches of 20) with exonym preservation when no established translation exists.

Entity extraction

Structured pull from messages: locations, coordinates, callsigns, dates/times, persons, organizations, vehicles, routes, urgency, quantities, and URLs — each with a confidence score. Detected coordinates attach to the map.

Voice

• On-device dictation via Apple speech recognizer (multi-language)
• Text-to-speech for original or translated messages
• No cloud fallback — if the recognizer is unavailable, the app reports that state
